These terms govern your use of the Waistbag Run website and any enquiry or order placed through it. By using the site, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Who operates this website

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of Waistbag Run, based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The site is intended for runners, race organisers, clubs and event teams across South Africa who need information on running and hydration waist belts, sizing support and order enquiries.

When you use this website, you confirm that the details you submit are accurate and that you are authorised to act for yourself, your club, your event, or your business where applicable. If any information changes after submission, please send an updated enquiry through the contact page.

2. Using the site in a lawful and fair way

You may browse the site for personal, club or business purposes, provided you do not interfere with its operation or use it in a way that is unlawful, misleading or harmful. You may not attempt unauthorised access, scrape content in bulk, or copy material for resale or publication without written permission.

  • Do not submit false enquiries, sizing details or event information.
  • Do not interfere with forms, page functions or security settings.
  • Do not use the site to send spam, malware or unsolicited promotions.
  • Do not copy product text, images or layouts for commercial use.

3. Product information, fit and suitability

We aim to describe our waist belts, belt kits and related support services accurately, including sizing guidance, storage options and hydration layout advice. Even so, product details may change from time to time as materials, stock, event requirements or production methods change. Colours may vary slightly between screens and printed material, and fit can be affected by body shape, clothing layers and the way a belt is loaded.

Information on the site is general in nature and does not replace proper product fit briefing or event planning. If you are ordering for a marathon, trail event, club group or crew team, you should confirm your requirements before placing an order. We also recommend considering weather conditions, load-shedding timing, coastal humidity and race-day logistics when planning bulk supply.

4. Orders, lead times and event planning

All enquiries are handled through the contact page and any order is subject to confirmation, stock availability and agreed timelines. Event Belt Supply, Bulk Order Planning, Participant Sizing, Club Order Management and other services depend on the information you provide, including sizes, quantities, delivery area and event date.

  • Lead times may differ for single orders, club packs and large event runs.
  • Repeat Order Support is based on previous requirements, but final confirmation is still needed each time.
  • Event Day Support and Dispatch Coordination depend on access, venue rules and delivery arrangements.
  • Race Pack Inserts and Custom Colour Runs may need extra planning time.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete details, late approvals, venue access limits, municipal restrictions, courier issues or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Prices, payment and order confirmation

Any price or quotation provided through the site or after an enquiry is valid only for the period stated on that quotation, if any. Prices may change without notice before an order is confirmed. Where applicable, amounts are quoted in Rand and may exclude delivery, special packaging or other agreed extras.

An enquiry does not create a binding order. A contract only comes into effect once both sides have confirmed the details, including quantity, specifications, payment terms and delivery arrangements. If payment is required before production or dispatch, work may be paused until cleared funds are received.

6. Delivery, risk and event handover

We dispatch to Stellenbosch, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, George, Paarl, Somerset West and Bellville, as well as other areas across South Africa where delivery is practical. Delivery dates are estimates only and may shift because of road conditions, weather, courier capacity or event schedules.

  • Risk in goods passes according to the agreed delivery method and handover point.
  • Please inspect deliveries promptly and report shortages or damage without delay.
  • If a venue requires delivery booking, security clearance or loading bay access, this must be arranged in advance.
  • We are not liable for missed race-day use caused by late notice or incorrect delivery details.

7. Liability, privacy and changes to these terms

The website and its content are provided for general informational purposes. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, Waistbag Run and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for indirect loss, lost profit, missed training time, event inconvenience or similar claims arising from site use or reliance on site information.

Personal information submitted through the enquiry form is used to respond to your request, manage orders and provide follow-up support. We do not sell your information. By using the contact form, you consent to us processing your details for that purpose. These terms may be updated from time to time, and the latest version on the website will apply from the date it is published.
